Andrew Harding

Mr. Harding has significant experience in the areas of criminal law, civil litigation, family law, appellate practice, and landlord-tenant law. Prior to joining Eldridge, Elledge & Harding, Mr. Harding conducted a solo practice where his principal practice areas were criminal defense and civil trial practice. Additionally he served as Guardian ad Litem for children in domestic cases.

 Before forming his own practice, Mr. Harding was an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney in Harrisonburg, where he prosecuted major felonies, including armed robbery, burglary, and homicide. He has attended specialized training in cases involving computer crimes, arson and insurance fraud, and child abuse and was a guest lecturer on criminal procedure at the Central Shenandoah Valley Criminal Justice Training Academy.

Before working with the Commonwealth's Attorney, he was a staff attorney at Blue Ridge Legal Services and in Eastern Virginia where he provided legal assistance in domestic relations, landlord-tenant law, consumer litigation, administrative law, and other civil matters. He was the 2002 recipient of the statewide legal services award for outstanding work in consumer law.

 Mr. Harding graduated from Washington & Lee University School of Law where he was a finalist in the appellate practice competition. He graduated with distinction from the Political Science Honors Program at the University of Washington at Seattle, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
